The Commission is now in the process of visiting each CAS. These visits should be completed by summer 2010.

The purpose of these visits is to develop a first hand understanding of the work of CASs, the challenges they are facing, and the successes they are having. During the visits, commissioners are meeting with CAS managers, boards, and front-line staff, as well as foster parents, outside paid resource providers, community partners, clients, and current and former youth-in-care.
